As someone who sees it all, these are the top ways a seller can ruin their home sale:
😬Having family photos everywhere
It gets too personal for buyers when they see family photos and hard to picture their life in someone else's home
😬Leaving repairs for buyers
Minor repairs should be done before listing to get the most return on your home! Otherwise, buyers see this as more reason to negotiate
😬Thinking it's what's on the inside that counts
Curb appeal matters! Unfortunately, looks on the outside are just as important as the inside
😬Having cameras everywhere
It can come off as creepy, and buyers won't be able to relax and enjoy your home
😬Not being flexible
The number of times I've seen sellers have strict showing times... don't do it, be flexible so we can get the most foot traffic into your home
The end goal is to get top dollar on your home, so I always tell my clients to stay away from these practices!
